What they need

What You'll Do

  • Pick up, organize, and safely load small and large parcels into the delivery vehicle.
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules to complete deliveries accurately and on time.
  • Safely lift, carry, and unload packages of various sizes using proper equipment and techniques.
  • Verify delivery information, obtain signatures or photos, and update each delivery in the driver app.
  • Provide professional customer service while reporting delays, damaged parcels, or delivery issues promptly.

What We're Looking For

  • Reliable, professional drivers who take pride in showing up on time
  • Your own vehicle in good working condition (cars, SUVs, minivans, cargo vans, and Sprinter-style vans are all welcome, since package size varies)
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR check required)
  • Current auto insurance, plus any commercial or cargo coverage required for your route
  • A smartphone for our delivery apps
  • Ability to lift and carry packages 50lbs
  • Willingness to complete our onboarding paperwork, background screening, and vehicle inspection

Nice to Have

  • Prior medical courier, last-mile, or delivery experience
  • Familiarity with the Philadelphia, New Jersey, and surrounding PA routes
  • TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
  • TSA card or other valid TSA-issued credential

Drivers holding a TWIC or TSA credential may be considered first for routes that require secure-facility access. Any credential you list must be valid and current.

Driver Expectations: What You Agree To

We keep our standards clear and simple. Before you take your first route, you'll be asked to read and agree to the following.

Before You Start

  • Complete onboarding in full. That means the Independent Contractor Agreement, background and driving record screening, and required insurance documentation.
  • Pass a vehicle inspection. Every vehicle will be inspected before you're cleared for your first route. We'll check that it's safe, clean, in good working order, and suited to the packages you'll carry. Vehicles that don't pass must be corrected and re-inspected before you can accept routes.
  • Provide proof of valid certifications. Your Bloodborne Pathogens and HIPAA certifications must be current and on file before your first route.
  • Keep your documents current. Your license, vehicle registration, insurance, and certifications (including any TWIC or TSA credentials you hold) must stay valid and on file with us.
  • Accept a route only when you can complete it. Confirm your availability honestly, and give us as much notice as possible if something changes.
  • Have your vehicle route-ready: clean, safe, fueled, and suited to the size and type of package you're carrying.

On Every Delivery

  • Be efficient. Plan your route, avoid unnecessary stops, and hit your pickup and delivery windows.
  • Be committed. When you accept a route, you complete it. No-shows and last-minute drops hurt the customer, the client, the dispatcher, and the other drivers.
  • Communicate early. Traffic, delays, vehicle trouble, or a problem at pickup? Tell dispatch right away, not after the window has passed.
  • Protect every package. Handle items with care, keep medical specimens and pharmacy items secure and separate from other cargo, and never leave a package unattended.
  • Follow safe handling practices. Apply your Bloodborne Pathogens training on every specimen run, and report any leak, spill, or exposure immediately.
  • Follow chain of custody. Scan, confirm, and document every pickup and drop-off, and get proof of delivery.
  • Respect confidentiality. Customer and client information stays private under HIPAA and our confidentiality standards. No photos, no sharing, no discussing deliveries with anyone outside the delivery.
  • Stay professional. Be courteous with customers, clients, facility staff, and recipients, and represent Daisy Blossom Referrals well.
  • Drive safely and legally. No phone use while driving, no unsafe driving, and no violations. Report any accident or incident to us right away.
  • Report damage, loss, or delivery issues immediately. We'd much rather hear it from you first. Drivers are expected to follow our package damage and liability policy.
  • Follow client site rules, including pickup procedures, security check-ins, and any location-specific requirements.

Accountability

  • Repeated late deliveries, missed routes, or unreported issues may result in loss of route access or termination of the contractor agreement.
  • Lapsed or invalid certifications will pause route eligibility until renewed.
  • Dependable, communicative drivers get first consideration for additional and recurring routes.

Why Drive With Us

  • Variety: Medical, retail, small package, and large package routes, so you're not stuck with one type of run
  • Independence: Contractor flexibility, with the structure you need to earn steadily
  • Clear expectations: Defined routes, documented procedures, and straightforward communication
  • Support: A real team that answers the phone, not a black-hole inbox
  • Consistent opportunity: More route options for drivers who prove reliable

Important Notes
