Independent Courier Contractor

Overview

We are seeking motivated and responsible Independent Courier Contractors to join our delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting packages efficiently and safely to various destinations. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to set your own schedule while ensuring timely deliveries. This position is ideal for individuals who own a personal vehicle and enjoy driving, with a focus on providing excellent service and adhering to traffic regulations.

Duties

• Use your personal vehicle to deliver packages to designated locations within specified timeframes.
• Navigate efficiently through different routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety regulations during all driving activities.
• Assist with warehouse operations as needed, including loading and unloading packages.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with dispatch or clients when necessary.
• Ensure the security and integrity of packages during transit.

Skills

• Valid personal vehicle suitable for delivery purposes.
• Proven experience in delivery driving or similar roles is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Excellent time management skills and reliability.
• Ability to navigate using GPS or mapping tools efficiently.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with dispatch teams or clients.
• Physical ability to handle loading/unloading packages as required.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License required
• Valid proof of vehicle insurance required
• Reliable vehicle and dependable transportation
• Must be able to meet all scheduled work requirements
• Must successfully complete the required background check

Weekly Fuel Assistance: Drivers will receive $125 in gas cards every week to help with fuel expenses.

Background Check: A $48 background check fee is required during the hiring process. The full $48 will be reimbursed on your first paycheck.
