About the role

KEEN EAGLE INSURANCE BROKERS LIMITED is seeking an experienced Independent Financial Advisor to join our team on a contract basis. This is a pivotal role within our Financial Planning division, where you will provide strategic financial guidance and bespoke solutions to our clients. Based in Kowloon City District, you will play an essential part in helping individuals and businesses make informed financial decisions whilst building long-term relationships with clients. This contract position offers flexibility whilst enabling you to deliver high-quality financial advisory services that align with our commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assessing clients' financial situations, objectives and risk tolerance to develop personalised financial plans and investment strategies
• Providing comprehensive advice on insurance products, investment options, retirement planning and wealth management solutions
• Conducting thorough financial analysis and presenting recommendations in clear, understandable terms to clients
• Identifying suitable insurance and investment products from various providers to meet clients' specific needs and circumstances
• Maintaining detailed client records and documenting all advice provided in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Building and nurturing long-term client relationships through regular reviews and ongoing support
• Staying abreast of market trends, regulatory changes and developments in financial products and services
• Liaising with insurance companies, investment providers and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate client transactions and resolutions
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial services regulations and internal policies at all times

What we're looking for

• Relevant professional qualifications in financial planning, insurance or investment advisory (such as IIQE PAPER1&3)
• Proven experience as a Financial Advisor or similar role within banking, insurance or financial services
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, investment vehicles, retirement planning and wealth management strategies
• Excellent understanding of Hong Kong financial regulations and compliance requirements
• Demonstrated ability to analyse complex financial information and communicate recommendations clearly to clients with varying levels of financial literacy
• Strong sales and relationship management skills with a proven track record of building client portfolios
• Proficiency in financial planning software and tools
• Fluency in English and Cantonese (Mandarin an advantage)
• A professional demeanour with strong ethical standards and a client-centric approach
• Willingness to continually develop knowledge and stay updated with industry developments
