Agape Love Counseling is expanding our clinical team through our Specialty Contracts Program, designed for independently licensed therapists who want to grow their caseload while maintaining flexibility and being part of a supportive clinical community.

We welcome applications from independently licensed clinicians across the United States, with immediate hiring priorities in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Opportunities in each state are subject to applicable licensing, credentialing, and contract eligibility requirements.

This opportunity is ideal for therapists who enjoy private practice but don't necessarily want to manage every aspect of credentialing, billing, marketing, and practice operations on their own.

What We Offer

Competitive Compensation. $75 per completed therapy session.

Flexible Caseload. Build a schedule that works alongside your current job, private practice, family, or other professional commitments.

Insurance Credentialing Support. Eligible clinicians will be connected with select insurance opportunities through Agape's specialty contracts.

Client Referrals and Marketing. Agape actively markets the practice and works to connect appropriate prospective clients with our clinicians.

Administrative Infrastructure. We coordinate the systems surrounding your specialty contract so you can spend more of your time focused on providing therapy.

Our clinicians have access to:

• Monthly Clinical Training Opportunities: Educational sessions and clinical intensives exploring evidence-based interventions, specialized treatment approaches, and emerging topics in behavioral health.
• Monthly Clinical Consultation Groups: A collaborative space to discuss clinical challenges, explore case conceptualizations, exchange ideas, and learn from fellow mental health professionals.
• Ongoing Professional Development: Opportunities to strengthen clinical competencies, expand therapeutic approaches, and develop confidence in specialty areas.
• A Supportive Clinical Community: Connection with clinicians who value collaboration, ethical practice, and lifelong learning.

Agape Professional Presence. Clinicians may be featured as part of the Agape Love Counseling clinical team and receive an Agape professional email and clinician profile.

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking independently licensed clinicians who are passionate about providing high-quality mental health care and interested in being part of a growing professional community.

Qualifications:

• Independently licensed to practice psychotherapy in at least one U.S. state (LICSW/LCSW, LMHC/LPC, LMFT, psychologist, or equivalent independent clinical license)
• Clinicians licensed in Rhode Island or Massachusetts are especially encouraged to apply
• Interested in maintaining approximately 5–10+ client sessions per week
• Comfortable providing telehealth psychotherapy
• Reliable with clinical documentation and professional communication
• Committed to ethical, culturally responsive, trauma-informed care
• Interested in continued professional development and clinical collaboration

Clinical Specialties

Agape Love Counseling has a strong foundation in faith-based and spiritually integrated psychotherapy, helping clients incorporate their faith, values, and spirituality into the therapeutic process when desired.

While faith-integrated care is one of our specialties, we welcome clinicians from a wide range of clinical backgrounds and therapeutic orientations. Clinicians are not required to provide faith-based therapy.

We are especially interested in expanding our team with clinicians specializing in:

• Trauma and PTSD
• OCD and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
• Anxiety and depressive disorders
• Couples and relationship therapy
• Child and adolescent mental health
• ADHD and executive functioning
• Perinatal and postpartum mental health
• Grief and loss
• Substance use and co-occurring disorders
• LGBTQ+ affirming therapy
• Other specialized or evidence-based treatment approaches

We value the unique experiences, perspectives, and clinical expertise that each therapist brings to our practice.

Compensation

$75 per completed therapy session

This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity. Clinicians maintain control over their availability and agreed-upon caseload.
