Independently Support Worker – Burleigh

We’re seeking caring, reliable Support Workers to join our casual team in the Burleigh area.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Personal support — assisting with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• High‑level personal care — mobility assistance, safe transfers, and falls‑risk awareness
• Community access — supporting clients to attend appointments, social activities, and community programs
• Domestic assistance — cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a comfortable home environment
• Companionship — offering emotional reassurance, conversation, and meaningful social connection
• Mental‑health informed support — recognising behavioural cues and responding with calm, supportive interaction
• Care documentation — following individualised care plans and accurately recording services
• Team collaboration — working closely with coordinators and clinical nurses to ensure safe, high‑quality care

About You

You’re someone who genuinely wants to make a difference in people’s lives. You bring:

• Compassion and patience
• Strong communication skills
• Confidence working independently in clients’ homes and in the community
• Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs

Requirements

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, or current health‑related studies
• Current First Aid & CPR
• Driver’s licence and reliable, insured vehicle
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Full Australian working rights
