Job Title: Indian Chef (CDP / Commis)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Indian Chef to join our culinary team at Whispering Woods. The candidate will specialize in authentic Indian cuisine and be responsible for delivering high-quality dishes while maintaining consistency, hygiene, and presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a wide range of Indian dishes (North Indian, Mughlai, Tandoor, or regional specialties)
• Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation
• Manage daily kitchen operations for the assigned section
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement for ingredients
• Assist in menu planning and introduce new dishes
• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff
• Ensure timely service and smooth kitchen workflow

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Indian Chef / CDP / Commis in hotels, restaurants, or resorts
• Strong knowledge of Indian spices, gravies, and cooking techniques
• Experience in Tandoor section is an added advantage
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good leadership and team management skills
• Culinary diploma or relevant certification preferred
