Indian Chef – Prep & Oven Support

Job Summary

Rozana is looking for a dependable Indian Chef to join our kitchen team. This position will focus mainly on food preparation and oven support, with opportunities to help prepare Indian dishes and keep service running smoothly. The right person is organized, works well under pressure, and takes pride in preparing consistent, high-quality food.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients, sauces, marinades, and other items for daily service.
• Assist with preparing Indian dishes according to our recipes and quality standards.
• Help operate and monitor kitchen ovens during prep and service.
• Portion ingredients and follow recipes to keep food consistent.
• Support the kitchen team during busy periods by completing prep and helping where needed.
• Follow food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures.
• Keep workstations, equipment, and storage areas clean and organized.
• Communicate with the chef and other team members to keep kitchen operations running smoothly.

Requirements

• Experience in an Indian restaurant or a similar professional kitchen preferred.
• Familiarity with Indian ingredients, spices, sauces, and cooking methods.
• Comfortable with food prep and using kitchen ovens and equipment safely.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Able to follow recipes, stay organized, and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Reliable, flexible, and willing to help with different kitchen tasks as needed.

We’re looking for someone who can support our team with daily prep and oven work while helping prepare the Indian food our guests enjoy.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
