Indian commis chef

• Prepare ingredients for Indian cuisine, including cutting, chopping, marinating, grinding masalas and making gravies and pastes
• Assist in cooking North Indian, South Indian and Indo-Chinese dishes as directed by the Chef
• Prepare mise en place for daily service and catering events
• Follow standard recipes, portion sizes and presentation guidelines
• Maintain consistency in taste and quality of all dishes
• Receive, check and store ingredients correctly, following FIFO and proper labelling
• Minimize wastage and use ingredients and equipment responsibly
• Support the team during high-volume catering orders and events
• Carry out any other kitchen duties assigned by the Chef

Pay: From AED2,000.00 per month
