Duties

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of a variety of Indian sweets, ensuring adherence to recipes and food safety standards
• Handle food ingredients with care, maintaining cleanliness and proper storage at all times
• Support the food service team by serving sweets to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment according to hygiene regulations
• Help with packaging, labeling, and organizing sweets for display or delivery
• Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality of products
• Support kitchen staff during busy periods by providing assistance with meal preparation and ingredient setup

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or food preparation is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Familiarity with serving food in a restaurant or similar setting is advantageous
• Knowledge of food safety practices within the food industry is a plus
• Experience working in a kitchen environment or restaurant setting will help you succeed in this role
• Passion for Indian cuisine and sweets is highly valued

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
