What the job involves

• Team: Indirect Tax
• Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract
• Reporting to: Indirect Tax Senior Manager
• This role in 3 words: Expert, Compliance, Attention to detail
• Everything we do here spins around Plan Zero. So, naturally, the team you’ll be joining plays a gigantic role in making that happen, and having an efficiently functioning Finance team will help us towards this journey
• This role will be a key member of the Indirect tax team. This is an essential role which will be focused on providing expert indirect tax support for VAT-focused projects, with an emphasis on compliance, process reviews, and internal controls
• Review and document end-to-end VAT processes from source to return
• Analyse and adapt processes to support VAT projects and transitional activities
• Identify and implement control improvements to ensure robust compliance
• Partner with wider finance and technology project teams to design and implement necessary processes and reporting
• Proactively identify necessary actions and take ownership of delivering changes, with support from the Senior Indirect Tax Manager
• Assisting the Indirect Tax Senior Manager with projects and support as required
