Indoor Sales & Application Engineer

A. Sales Support & Project Coordination

• Sales Collaboration: Assist outdoor sales personnel in planning, organizing, and managing incoming client inquiries and ongoing projects.

• Timeline Management: Coordinate closely with clients and manufacturers to ensure technical submissions, proposals, and project milestones are met punctually.

• Pipeline Updates: Provide regular status updates on active inquiries and project developments to assigned outdoor sales engineers/management.

B. Application, Sourcing & Procurement

• Product Sourcing & Selection: Source appropriate products and technical solutions that align with client specifications and project requirements.

• Commercial Proposals: Prepare and issue detailed technical quotations and process customer Purchase Orders (POs) accurately.

• Costing & Supplier Negotiation: Oversee cost budgeting, evaluate vendor proposals, and conduct supplier negotiations to secure competitive pricing and optimal commercial terms.

• Data & Records Management: Maintain, track, and update quoted pricing, cost sheets, and historical purchasing records in compliance with company standard procedures.

C. Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Technical Clarification: Direct engagement with clients to clarify technical requirements, verify specifications, and recommend suitable engineered solutions.

• Meeting Representation: Participate in technical clarifications, commercial negotiations, and project kick-off meetings (online or face-to-face) with clients and manufacturers.

• Reporting: Prepare periodic quotation update reports and sales pipeline analyses as required.

• Order Handover: Liaise with project and operations teams to facilitate smooth transitions and order handovers upon project award.

D. Training, Professional Development & Operational Flexibility

• Technical Training: Attend factory/principal product trainings (local and overseas) to stay updated on fluid handling technologies, pump designs, and industry standards.

• Operations & Ad-Hoc Support: Provide quotation status reports, maintain a historical cost/quote database in Intech’s records, and perform ad-hoc duties or extended-hour support during peak project deadlines.
