Indoor Sales Support Executive

About the role

You will act as the operational core of our sales team, managing the end-to-end internal sales process. Your primary focus will be transforming client inquiries into accurate proposals, diligently driving deals to completion, and delivering outstanding service to retain our existing customer base. This is a strictly internal role, entirely free from field sales or door-to-door requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare sea/air freight quotations in the system (fr8Labs)
• Request rates from carriers, co-loaders and overseas agents
• Check Incoterms and cost lines before sending
• Chase open quotations by phone, email and WhatsApp
• Log outcomes and flag hot leads to the Key Account Manager
• Screen inbound enquiries and assigned lead lists
• Confirm cargo, lane, volume and decision-maker
• Take over stable, repeat-lane customers handed over by the Key Account Manager
• Handle their rate requests, bookings and routine queries
• Pass confirmed bookings to Operations with complete details

About you

• Minimum 2–3 years in Operations or Customer Service in a freight forwarding company
• Working knowledge of Incoterms, FCL/LCL, and basic customs / import-export flow
• Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Comfortable with Excel and email; quick to pick up new systems
• Organised — you close your loops without being chased
• Mandarin is an added advantage (to communicate with Chinese-speaking clients and overseas agents)
