Industrial Automation Engineer – Programming

S. A. HAMID & Co. is looking for an Industrial Automation Engineer who enjoys PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, and solving automation problems.

What You'll Do

• Develop, modify, test, and troubleshoot PLC programs.
• Develop and configure HMI/SCADA applications.
• Integrate PLCs with VFDs, sensors, instruments, and other devices.
• Work with industrial communication protocols such as Profinet, Modbus, and Ethernet/IP.
• Debug automation systems and optimize control logic.
• Support FAT/SAT, testing, and site commissioning when required.
• Prepare software backups, I/O documentation, and project records.
• Coordinate with electrical, instrumentation, and commissioning teams.

What We're Looking For

• BSc/BE in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.
• 1–2 years of relevant industrial automation experience.
• Hands-on experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi, Delta, or similar PLCs.
• Good understanding of HMI/SCADA and industrial control systems.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and P&IDs.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to industrial sites when required.

Your Edge: Strong in programming, logic development, and automation software, with enough field knowledge to support commissioning.
