Industrial Bench Saw Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Bench Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating bench saws and related fabrication equipment to cut, and prepare timber with precision and efficiency. Your mechanical knowledge, familiarity with tooling, and experience in timber handling will be essential in maintaining high-quality standards and supporting production workflows. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment where safety, accuracy, and teamwork are prioritized.

This position is for an immediate start.

Duties

• Operate industrial bench saws and to cut various Timbers according to specifications.
• Read Cutting Lists for cutting requirements accurately.
• Handle timber safely within the warehouse
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with cutting, or assembly work.
• knowledge of tools, machinery, and basic Bench saw procedures.
• Skilled in the use of bench saws, hand tools, tooling.
• Basic math skills for measuring dimensions and calculating material requirements accurately.
• Warehouse experience or background in timber handling is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely.

Pay: £13.13 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
