Industrial Crane and Processing Operator

About the Role

As an Industrial Material Handler and Equipment Operator, you will play a vital role in optimizing warehouse flow by managing the precise movement and storage of heavy steel products. You will utilize overhead crane operations and specialized cutting equipment to ensure that materials are accurately processed, organized, and prepared for timely distribution.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes to safely load, unload, and transport steel plates throughout the facility.
• Utilize kinetic and oxy-fuel cutting machinery to process parts according to production specifications.
• Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy by managing storage designations and updating digital tracking systems.
• Prepare materials for outbound shipping by coordinating staging areas and resolving logistical discrepancies.
• Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory logs to ensure data integrity.
• Document all operational activities and material movements through detailed reporting and record-keeping.
• Ensure a high-performance work environment by adhering to strict safety protocols and operational standards.
