Job Title: Industrial Electrical Technician - Plastic Factory

Location: Al Wathba, Abu Dhabi, UAE

You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, industrial machinery, and production equipment in a plastic manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial machinery and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain PLC-controlled machinery, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and motor control systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and electrical testing to identify potential hazards and prevent equipment failures.
• Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, inspection checklists, and spare parts records.
• Ensure proper functioning of emergency stop systems, safety interlocks, and other machine safety devices.
• Maintain and repair electrical systems for injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, and other plastic manufacturing machines.

Requirements:

• ITI, Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Electrical Technology.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in a plastic manufacturing factory.
• Practical experience with injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, or other plastic processing machinery is preferred.
• Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience in the UAE or GCC industrial sector is an advantage.
