This position focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining 480V three-phase electrical systems, motors, motor controls, VFDs, production equipment, and industrial control systems.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on industrial electrical experience, can troubleshoot equipment independently, understands electrical safety requirements, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain 480V three-phase industrial electrical systems and production equipment
- Diagnose electrical problems involving motors, starters, contactors, relays, overloads, VFDs, sensors, solenoids, and control panels
- Inspect and maintain breakers, disconnects, transformers, panels, motor control centers (MCCs), and related electrical equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, ladder logic, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals
- Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and identify electrical root causes
- Use multimeters, clamp meters, insulation resistance testers, and other electrical diagnostic equipment
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), arc-flash, electrical safety, and OSHA requirements
- Work safely around energized electrical equipment in accordance with company procedures
- Document repairs, inspections, parts usage, and maintenance activities in the company’s maintenance system
- Work with maintenance technicians, controls engineers, production teams, EHS personnel, and outside contractors
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, shutdowns, and plant improvement projects
- Maintain electrical rooms, tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent practical experience
- Hands-on industrial electrical maintenance or troubleshooting experience
- Experience working with 480V AC, three-phase electrical systems
- Experience troubleshooting motors, motor controls, VFDs, and industrial production equipment
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Working knowledge of:
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Electrical safety
- Arc-flash hazards
- Grounding and bonding
- Safe use of electrical testing equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults safely and systematically
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
- Ability to work assigned shifts and occasional overtime, weekends, or shutdown periods as required
- Must possess or be able to obtain any state or local electrical license required for the work assigned to this position before independently performing work that legally requires such licensure
Electrical License / Certification
Preferred:
- Oklahoma Unlimited Electrical Journeyman License
- Applicable Oklahoma City Journeyman electrical license/certificate, if required for the work performed at the facility
- Equivalent journeyman electrician license from another state with eligibility for Oklahoma reciprocity or licensing
Candidates with strong industrial electrical experience who do not currently hold an Oklahoma journeyman license may still be considered, depending on the type of electrical work they will perform and applicable state and local licensing requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing, utilities, process operations, or a similar industrial environment
- Experience with automated manufacturing or production equipment
- Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment
- Experience with PLC I/O and basic ladder-logic troubleshooting
- Experience programming or parameterizing VFDs
- Experience with industrial instrumentation and sensors
- Experience using a CMMS or other maintenance management system
- Experience with preventive or predictive maintenance programs
- NFPA 70E training

- Ability to wear required PPE
- Ability to work around operating machinery, electrical equipment, noise, dust, heat, cold, and other normal manufacturing conditions
What We’re Looking For
We are especially interested in candidates who are strong at industrial troubleshooting, not just commercial or residential electrical installation.
If you have experience diagnosing electrical problems on 480V manufacturing equipment, motors, VFDs, MCCs, control panels, and automated production lines, we encourage you to apply.
