Industrial Electrician - Second Shift

What You Will Be Doing As the Industrial Electrician you will perform fundamental electrical installs for industrial packaging on a daily basis. You will also perform all duties related to industrial packaging for backup power.

Primary Responsibilities

• Working knowledge of basic electrical installation
• Wiring AC & DC lights, 3-way switches, GFCI receptacles, Load Center
• Bending and sizing of conduit, sizing of wire
• Interpret current NEC codes
• Interpret shop drawings

Additional Responsibilities

• Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
• Additional duties as assigned by manager.

Who We Are Looking For To be successful in this position you should have prior experience as an electrician in either the commercial or residential field. You should possess a strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service. The ability to take direction and work in a team environment is essential to this position as well.

Education/Experience

• Specific industry experienced desired or an equivalent college degree
• State certification is preferred

Required Qualifications/Skills

• 3 years minimum experience as an electrician apprentice or journeyman as either a commercial or residential electrician.
• Ability to read a tape measure and compute basic math.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

• A two year undergraduate degree from an accredited college preferred
