Industrial Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Industrial Engineer to support the optimization and continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving productivity, process efficiency, production capacity, cost effectiveness, and overall operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness.
• Develop and establish production standards, process flows, work methods, and operating procedures.
• Conduct method studies and work measurement to establish efficient work methods and production standards.
• Perform production capacity studies covering manpower, machinery, tools, equipment, and workspace requirements.
• Develop and optimize equipment, workstation, material flow, and production layouts using CAD software.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Takt Time, 7 Wastes, Standard Work Combination, and Just-In-Time (JIT).
• Identify opportunities to eliminate waste, reduce production costs, improve productivity, and optimize resource utilization.
• Support the implementation and improvement of the ERP system, including procedure development, report automation, and dashboard creation.
• Prepare material and equipment lists, cost analyses, purchase requirements, and estimated production costs.
• Develop process controls to minimize production issues, losses, and unnecessary costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in CAD drafting.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, production machinery, equipment, and production standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Project.
• Knowledge or experience in ERP systems is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Lean Six Sigma is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, interpersonal, organizational, and technical writing skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively within a team.
