Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process Optimization: Analyze existing business and production processes using value stream mapping, time studies, and workflow analysis to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to eliminate waste, improve cycle times, and foster a culture of ongoing operational excellence.
• Facility & Layout Design: Design optimal plant, office, or warehouse layouts using CAD software to maximize space utilization, improve material flow, and enhance worker safety.
• Capacity & Resource Planning: Develop production schedules, labor utilization models, and capacity planning tools to align operational throughput with fluctuating market demands.
• Data Analysis & Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs). Collect and analyze operational data using statistical methods to drive data-backed decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Production, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership to seamlessly integrate new technologies and processes.
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Establish, document, and maintain standard work instructions to ensure consistency, quality control, and safety compliance.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Research, or a closely related engineering field.
• 2–5+ years of experience in an industrial engineering, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Strong command of statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel, SPSS).
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production simulation software.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is highly preferred;
• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) or Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
