Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Applications Consultant – Manufacturing Track based in Cebu.

The Business Applications Consultant – Manufacturing Track will be responsible for understanding and analyzing clients' manufacturing and business processes and translating their operational requirements into effective ERP solutions. The role involves supporting ERP implementation projects, gathering business requirements, configuring and testing ERP functionalities, providing user training, and assisting clients throughout the implementation and post-implementation stages.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients and internal teams to understand manufacturing workflows, identify process improvements, and ensure that ERP solutions are properly aligned with business requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze and document manufacturing and business processes, including production, inventory, procurement, warehouse, and supply chain operations.
• Gather and document business and functional requirements from clients.
• Assist in the implementation and configuration of ERP manufacturing modules and functionalities.
• Understand and support manufacturing processes such as:
• Production Planning
• Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
• Production Orders
• Inventory and Warehouse Management
• Procurement and Purchasing
• Material Management
• Production Costing
• Sales and Distribution
• Quality and operational processes
• Translate client requirements into appropriate ERP system processes and solutions.
• Assist in conducting system configuration, testing, and validation based on documented requirements.
• Identify gaps between existing client processes and ERP functionality and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Prepare process documentation, user guides, and other project-related documents.
• Conduct or assist in user training and system demonstrations.
• Provide support to clients during ERP implementation and post-implementation.
• Coordinate with developers, project managers, and other consultants to address system requirements and issues.
• Monitor assigned project tasks and ensure deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving functional issues encountered by clients.
• Participate in client meetings, workshops, and project discussions.
• Recommend opportunities for process improvement, automation, and digital transformation.
• Travel to client sites for meetings, training, implementation, and support when required.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities related to ERP implementation and manufacturing consulting as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Business Administration, Accountancy, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience or exposure to manufacturing operations, production, inventory, supply chain, procurement, or warehouse processes is preferred.
• Strong understanding of basic manufacturing and business processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand, document, and analyze business requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to learn ERP systems, business consulting, and project implementation.
• Experience or exposure to SAP Business One, SAP S/4HANA, Acumatica, or other ERP systems is an advantage but not required.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willing to travel for client meetings, training, implementation, and project assignments when needed.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, adaptability, and willingness to grow professionally.
• Must be willing to work on-site in Cebu.
