Job Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and improve factory layout, production line arrangement, workstation setup, material flow, WIP flow, and space utilization for existing operations and new plant setup.
• Conduct time study, motion study, line balancing, capacity analysis, and bottleneck analysis to improve manufacturing efficiency and production output.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects, including Kaizen, waste elimination, work standardisation, visual management, productivity improvement, and cost reduction activities.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Management to improve process flow, reduce unnecessary movement, optimize manpower, and support production ramp-up.
• Prepare and maintain IE reports, layout proposals, standard time data, capacity studies, productivity analysis, and improvement project tracking for management review.
• To execute the implementation and sustainability of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for the operations of the company
• Other tasks assigned by the management.

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering / Lean Manufacturing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong practical knowledge in factory layout planning, time study, line balancing, capacity planning, manpower optimization, process improvement, and lean manufacturing tools.
• Experience in precision machining, metal manufacturing, or high-mix manufacturing will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD / layout drawing / ERP or MES system will be an advantage.
