About the role

This role involves assisting in reviewing and analyzing fleet processes to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, productivity, and cost reduction. You will monitor fleet utilization, vehicle availability, deployment, downtime, and capacity to support efficient use of fleet assets, and prepare data and reports for demand forecasting, manpower requirements, vehicle requirements, and fleet capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing and analyzing existing fleet processes to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, productivity, and cost reduction.
• Monitor fleet utilization, vehicle availability, deployment, downtime, and capacity to support efficient use of fleet assets.
• Assist in analyzing fleet capacity and operational requirements to support vehicle and resource planning.
• Prepare data and reports for demand forecasting, manpower requirements, vehicle requirements, and fleet capacity.
• Conduct time and motion studies on fleet-related activities to identify productivity gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Gather and analyze operational data related to drivers and riders, fleet staff, dispatch operations, vehicle inspection, maintenance activities, and vehicle utilization.
• Assist in identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies in fleet processes and recommend practical improvements.
• Support the review and improvement of vehicle assignment, dispatch, maintenance coordination, inspection, and monitoring processes.
• Coordinate with Fleet, Operations, HR, Finance, and other departments in gathering data and implementing process improvements.
• Assist in the development, review, and updating of fleet-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process flows, and work instructions.

About you

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering (BSIE) or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; 1–2 years of relevant experience in logistics, fleet, transportation, or operations is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Industrial Engineering principles, process improvement, capacity planning, and time and motion studies.
• Knowledge of fleet operations, logistics, transportation, or vehicle management is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Good data analysis and reporting skills.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic project management and organizational skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
