Industrial Engineering OJT/Intern

The Industrial Engineering OJT/Intern will assist the Industrial Engineering and Operations teams in monitoring and improving production processes, gathering and analyzing operational data, preparing reports, and supporting productivity and efficiency improvement initiatives.

The intern will gain practical experience in applying Industrial Engineering principles in a manufacturing environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in conducting time studies, work measurement, and process observations in production areas.
• Gather and record data related to production output, manpower, process time, downtime, and productivity.
• Assist in analyzing production processes and identifying process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare and update process flowcharts, work instructions, production monitoring sheets, and other IE-related documents.
• Assist in monitoring manpower utilization and work allocation.
• Support the preparation of productivity and efficiency reports using Excel or other applicable tools.
• Assist in conducting 5S, workplace organization, and process improvement activities.
• Help monitor and document production downtime, delays, and process-related concerns.
• Assist in gathering data for capacity planning, line balancing, and productivity studies.
• Support the implementation and documentation of approved process improvement projects.
• Coordinate with Production, QA, FME, and other departments when gathering operational data or conducting process observations.
• Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of company records and operational information.
• Follow all company safety, food safety, sanitation, GMP, and workplace policies while inside the manufacturing facility.
• Perform other related tasks and assignments that may be given by the IE Supervisor or assigned supervisor.

Pay: From Php100.00 per day
