Industrial Maintenance Technician

About the Role

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a critical member of our technical team, ensuring the seamless operation of complex manufacturing systems. You will leverage your expertise in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance across our facility.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive maintenance routines, including lubrication, wear analysis, and component calibration to ensure peak operational reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system failures to restore production efficiency rapidly.
• Install and configure electrical infrastructure, including motors, relays, and advanced position sensing devices, adhering to strict safety and building codes.
• Utilize diagnostic tools, multimeters, and PC-based software to troubleshoot industrial automation, including PLCs and drive systems.
• Maintain comprehensive maintenance records and work orders within our CMMS to track equipment health and inventory needs.
• Collaborate with production teams and external vendors to coordinate repairs and facility upgrades, ensuring all work meets safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex electrical and mechanical schematics and technical documentation.
• Strong hands-on experience with PLCs, AC/DC drives, sensors, and industrial control systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently to solve technical problems and perform repairs safely.

Preferred Skills

• Technical degree or specialized certification in industrial maintenance or a related field.
• Experience with Rockwell Automation, Siemens, or similar industrial control software.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E and electrical safety compliance standards.
• Experience operating powered industrial trucks and aerial lifts.
