Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems.
• Utilize schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting techniques to diagnose issues accurately.
• Operate and interpret readings from precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify faults.
• Conduct equipment troubleshooting and repairs using skills in welding (stick welding), electrical diagnostics, and equipment repair techniques.
• Manage maintenance tasks efficiently using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance history.
• Troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage electrical systems, and industrial control circuits to restore optimal operation.
• Support field service activities by performing electrical maintenance, equipment repairs, and system upgrades on-site or at remote locations.
• Read electrical schematics and blueprints to facilitate accurate repairs and modifications.
• Operate scissor lifts or other aerial work platforms safely for access during maintenance tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with team members and internal clients regarding maintenance status or technical issues.

Experience

• Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility environment with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics and electrical systems.
• Hands-on experience with industrial electrician tasks including electrical troubleshooting, low voltage systems, and schematic reading.
• Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management is highly desirable.
• Skilled in HVAC/R systems maintenance or repair is a plus.
• Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters confidently.
• Demonstrated proficiency in welding techniques including stick welding for equipment repair or fabrication projects.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatic systems troubleshooting is preferred.
• Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and engineering troubleshooting methods.
• Strong analysis skills combined with excellent problem-solving abilities to quickly identify root causes of equipment issues.
• Effective communication skills in English are essential for documentation and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
