Industrial Mechanic

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Industrial Mechanic at Machitech assembles machine components based on mechanical drawings and performs start-up tests to ensure proper operation. The role includes troubleshooting, repairing, and testing mechanical and electrical systems on industrial cutting equipment while supporting continuous product improvement. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, autonomy, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in the mechanical assembly of industrial equipment.

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical schematics.

• Perform precision adjustments and alignments on equipment and components.

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment performance and

  reliability.

• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards and procedures.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Vocational Diploma in Industrial Mechanics or a related field.
• Experience in the assembly of industrial equipment
• Good knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and written instructions.
• Strong independence, attention to detail, and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage priorities.
