Category 5 Labour Management is seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join a well-established workshop team in Henderson, working across industrial and defence projects.

This role requires proven experience with high-performance protective coating systems, including airless, conventional and plural-component spray applications.

About the Role You will be responsible for:

• Applying high-spec industrial protective coatings
• Airless and conventional spray application
• Operating plural-component spray equipment
• Preparing and applying coatings to required specifications
• Achieving required coating thickness, finish and quality standards
• Following workplace safety, quality and compliance procedures

What We're Looking For To be considered, you will need:

• Proven experience as an Industrial Painter / Protective Coatings Applicator
• Strong airless spray experience
• Strong conventional spray experience
• Demonstrated plural-component spray equipment experience
• Experience applying high-specification protective coating systems
• Strong understanding of safety and quality requirements
• Ability to complete a practical competency assessment if required
• Ability to complete online and onsite inductions
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen

Required Tickets & Licences

• Working Safely at Heights within 2 years
• Confined Space Entry within 2 years
• Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Minimum C Class Driver's Licence
• National Police Clearance

Experience within defence, marine, mining, oil & gas, heavy industrial or fabrication environments will be highly regarded.
Continued employment will be subject to meeting the required safety, quality and performance standards during the probationary period.
