Industrial Placement - Site Manager

We're looking for an Industrial Placement Construction Manager to join our team based across London.

Location: London Region
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £30,784
Starting date: September 2027

This is an exciting opportunity for a degree student seeking a placement year to gain valuable hands-on experience and begin building a successful career in Construction Management. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the planning, coordination, and supervision of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and to the required quality. This role is designed for a recent graduate eager to launch a career in construction management. What will you be responsible for?

As an Industrial Placement Construction Manager, you'll be working within the construction team, supporting them in delivering high-quality construction projects.

Your day to day will include:

• Supporting the Site Manager in overseeing day-to-day site operations and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Monitoring project progress, including schedules, costs, and quality control measures
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project execution
• Maintaining accurate site records, including progress reports, safety logs, and material deliveries
• Participating in site meetings and helping to resolve any issues or conflicts that arise

This role of Industrial Placement Construction Manager is great for you if:

• Working towards a degree in Construction Management, Construction Project Management, Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline
• Demonstrate a genuine interest in pursuing a career in construction management with clear motivation to learn and develop professionally
• Can prioritise multiple tasks and manage time effectively whilst maintaining high standards
• Work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating collaboration, reliability, and respect for others
