Industrial Cleaning Operative - Post Construction

Location: Nenagh/ Limerick

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00

About the Role

We are looking for an Industrial Cleaning Operative to join our post-construction cleaning team on a site in Limerick. You will play a key role in preparing newly built or refurbished areas for handover, delivering high standards of cleaning in a safe and professional manner. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working as part of a team.

This role also offers the opportunity to work with our mobile cleaning team across additional projects in the Limerick region, providing varied experience and exposure to different client sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out post-construction and builders cleans on site

• Travel to different work areas within the site and occasionally to other client locations as part of a mobile cleaning team.

• Remove dust, debris, adhesives, and construction residue.

• Perform window cleaning, floor restoration, and pressure washing.

• Operate industrial cleaning equipment including scrubber dryers, vacuums, and Reach & Wash systems.

• Clean high-level areas, fixtures, vents, and glazing.

• Dispose of waste safely and follow all health & safety procedures.

• Complete additional cleaning duties as required.

Requirements

• Valid Safe Pass card.

• Manual Handling certification.

• Previous cleaning experience in a construction, industrial, or commercial environment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high standards.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Flexibility to work overtime when required.

• Full legal right to work in Ireland.

• Previous post-construction (builders' clean) experience is desirable.

• MEWP certificate is desirable.
