Industrial Refrigeration Engineer

WE’RE HIRING – INDUSTRIAL REFRIGERATION ENGINEER - MANCHESTER | £20 - £26 PER HOUR BASED ON EXPERIENCE | POTENTIAL EARNINGS £85,000 +

We’re looking for an Industrial Refrigeration engineer or Improver Refrigeration engineer based in and around the M62 corridor to join our service & maintenance department in Trafford Park, Manchester.

The Role

As an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of industrial & heavy commercial refrigeration systems across a varied customer base. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planned preventative maintenance and reactive service work
• Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs
• Working on a range of industrial & heavy commercial refrigeration plant
• Providing a high standard of service to our customers
• Completing service documentation and reports accurately
• Participating in the regional call-out rota, which is 1 week in every 9 currently.
• Working safely and in accordance with company and industry standards

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working within industrial refrigeration
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• City & Guilds 2079-11 (F-Gas & ODS) or CITB equivalent
• City & Guilds 2078-2 (Ammonia) or CITB equivalent
• City & Guilds 6187-21 (Hydrocarbons) would be an advantage
• A full UK driving licence
• A professional, safety-conscious, and customer-focused approach

Salary & Package

£41,600 - £54,080 (Basic salary depending on experience) + overtime (Door to door pay)

• Overtime available - time-and-a-half + double time (high earning potential)

• 25 days annual leave. This will increase by one day for every five years of continuous service completed, up to a maximum of 30 days total.
