Industrial Sales Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a motivated Sales Engineer with a background in heavy manufacturing such as machining or tool & die to join our clients team in Erie, PA. Our client is a family owned company that has over 60 years of experience performing industrial chrome plating & precision grinding for customers in various industries such as automotive, medical component manufacturing, aerospace and oil & gas. Due to current Sales Engineer moving into another role they are looking to add a Sales Engineer to perform the following:

• Perform prospecting & cold calling to potential customers in the PA, NY & OH areas.
• Meet with and build relationships with new & existing customers.
• Work with Production shop employees in scheduling chroming or grinding services.

This is a full time, direct hire position with the starting salary of $50,000 - $65,000 (potentially more for someone with the right experience) plus company car, monthly health insurance allowance & paid vacation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a heavy manufacturing, machining or tool & die industry with strong technical knowledge.
• Outgoing personality with excellent communication & relationship building skills.
• Valid drivers license with the ability to pass DMV & Criminal Background checks.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
