Industrial/Machining Estimator

Responsibilities and duties:

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and detailed cost estimates
• Communicate with trade partners and team members regarding new and current projects
• Prepare detailed estimates, proposals, and quotes
• Ensure timely completion of estimates
• Understand scope of work to bid and contractual requirements
• Manage bid pricing from all vendors and subcontractors
• Prepare cost analysis
• Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors
• Other duties as assigned

Industrial/Machining Estimator skills

• 0-2 years' experience in industrial/machining estimating
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Manufacturing Engineering, Applied Science, Construction Management or related field
• Able to read and understand mechanical and engineering drawings/documents, engineering information and develop cost estimates and quotes
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and techniques
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
• Proficient in estimating systems, software, and methodology
• Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
• Impeccable problem-solving skill

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
