Job Summary

The Industry Linkages and OJT Officer is responsible for establishing and maintaining partnerships with industry partners, government agencies, and organizations to support student internship, practicum, and On-the-Job Training (OJT) opportunities. The position ensures effective coordination of student placements, employer engagement activities, and career development initiatives that enhance graduate employability and strengthen institutional linkages.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, establish, and maintain partnerships with industry partners, companies, organizations, and government agencies.
• Coordinate internship, practicum, and OJT placements for students across various academic programs.
• Facilitate and monitor Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs) and other partnership documents.
• Organize job fairs, career talks, employer engagement activities, and networking events.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the institution and partner organizations.
• Monitor student deployment, attendance, and compliance with OJT and internship requirements.
• Gather and analyze employer feedback, internship evaluations, and placement outcomes.
• Assist students with placement opportunities and career-related activities.
• Maintain accurate records and databases of industry partners, placements, and partnership activities.
• Prepare reports and recommendations related to industry linkages and employability programs.
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned by management.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Public Relations, Education, Psychology, or any related field.

Experience

• Preferably with at least two (2) years of relevant experience in industry relations, human resources, recruitment, placement, career services, partnership management, or program coordination.
• Experience in an academic institution is an advantage.
