Infant Assistant Teacher

Now Hiring: Part-Time Infant Teacher

We are looking for an experienced and loving Infant Teacher to join our team!

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–6:00 PM
Start Date: Immediately

Requirements:

• Infant classroom experience preferred
• Current Food Handler’s Card
• CPR certification
• Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Reliable and dependable
• Highschool Diploma/GED

Duties

• Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote infant development, including motor skills, language acquisition, and social-emotional growth
• Ensure the safety and supervision of infants at all times, maintaining vigilant awareness of their needs and behaviors
• Support daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices in compliance with health and safety standards
• Foster positive interactions with infants to encourage curiosity, exploration, and emotional security
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, routines, and any concerns, building strong partnerships based on trust and transparency
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that supports learning and safety standards
• Follow all mandated reporting laws and health protocols to ensure compliance with licensing requirements

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with infants or in early childhood settings such as daycare centers or preschools is highly preferred
• Knowledge of child development principles specific to infants and toddlers
• Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is encouraged
• Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus
• Strong classroom management skills combined with compassionate caregiving abilities
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members
• Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare
• Demonstrated commitment to nurturing childhood development through engaging teaching methods
