Infant Assistant Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for planning engaging activities, implementing educational programs, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
• Facilitate daily activities, including arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and outdoor play.
• Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness to promote a positive learning atmosphere.
• Collaborate with parents, staff, and other educators to support each child's individual needs.
• Address any special educational needs or behavioral challenges with appropriate strategies.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the classroom.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting.
• Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to various learning styles.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• First aid certification is preferred to ensure the safety of all students.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners.
• Experience in infant care or babysitting can be beneficial for understanding developmental stages.
