Infant Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated infant teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and intellectual development of young children. The Infant Teacher will implement engaging curriculum activities that foster learning through play and exploration, ensuring that each child’s individual needs are met.

Duties

• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
• Monitor and assess children's progress through standardized testing and individualized evaluations.
• Provide guidance and support to children in their daily activities, including toddler care and social interactions.
• Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and staff to promote a collaborative learning environment.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior, and attendance.
• Collaborate with others to develop curriculum materials and classroom activities that enhance the learning experience.

Skills

• Strong understanding of child welfare principles and practices.
• Experience working with children in a preschool or educational setting.
• Knowledge of curriculum development tailored for early childhood education.
• Familiarity with literacy education techniques to enhance reading readiness.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Experience in tutoring or providing additional support to children as needed.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners.
