Responsibilities

• Provide attentive supervision and care for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development in infants
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences
• Follow all mandated reporting laws and health protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures
• Support individual developmental needs by collaborating with specialists in special education or early childhood development when necessary
• Manage classroom routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions smoothly and efficiently

Skills

• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and infant care best practices
• Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid training (will be provided)
• Familiarity with special education strategies and working with children with disabilities or developmental delays
• Excellent child supervision skills combined with effective behavior management techniques
• Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with parents, children, and team members
• Proficiency in classroom management, activity planning, and creating engaging learning environments
• Experience adhering to health regulations such as mandated reporting laws and safety standards in childcare settings
