Infant Teacher

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment tailored specifically for infants. Your primary goal is to support each child's developmental milestones through engaging activities, attentive caregiving, and effective communication with parents. Responsibilities

• Provide attentive supervision and care for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to ensure a secure setting
• Support children in their routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and transitions throughout the day
• Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum enhancements that align with early childhood development standards
• Adhere to mandated reporting laws and document any concerns related to child welfare or behavior management issues

Skills

• Demonstrated experience working with infants in daycare or preschool settings, including classroom management skills
• Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers
• Certification in first aid and CPR (pediatric first aid preferred)
• Strong communication skills for effective parent interactions and team collaboration
• Ability to implement child supervision strategies that ensure safety while encouraging independence
• Familiarity with special education needs or experience working with children with disabilities is a plus
• Compassionate caregiving approach combined with behavior management techniques suitable for young children
• Understanding of early childhood education best practices and classroom experience in daycare centers or nannying environments

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
