About The Magical Years
At The Magical Years Early Learning Center, our goal is to provide educationally based programs in a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment that considers the needs of the whole child, physically, emotionally, socially, and cognitively.
We strive to create an inclusive atmosphere where children, families, and educators feel welcomed and valued as part of our school family.
Our research-based curriculum builds upon children's natural curiosity and problem-solving abilities while establishing the foundational skills necessary for future learning and success.
What You'll Do

- Changing diapers at least every two hours and more frequently as needed
- Applying diaper cream as authorized and needed
- Comforting, rocking, holding, and soothing infants while supporting the development of healthy self-regulation
- Assisting infants with falling asleep when needed, including rocking or other appropriate comforting techniques
- Engaging infants in developmentally appropriate activities, play, movement, language, sensory experiences, and exploration
- Building loving, responsive relationships with each child
- Using ProCare to document meals, bottles, diapering, and naps throughout the day
- Sharing at least one photo of each child daily through ProCare so families can stay connected to their child's day
- Communicating professionally and positively with families
- Reporting injuries or concerns immediately to the Director and providing appropriate care within the scope of your training
- Maintaining a clean, organized, well-stocked, and developmentally appropriate classroom
- Working collaboratively with fellow teachers and members of our leadership team
- Following all The Magical Years policies and Massachusetts EEC health, safety, and licensing requirements
