Lee Hill Early Learning Center is seeking a compassionate, nurturing, and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. We are looking for someone who loves working with infants, understands the importance of responsive caregiving, and is committed to creating a safe, loving, and engaging environment where our youngest learners can grow and thrive.

We are looking to have our Infant Teacher start in January 2027. This teacher could potentially be a float in all classrooms if employment is needed ASAP.

Position Summary

The Infant Teacher is responsible for providing high-quality care and education for infants while supporting their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. The ideal candidate will build strong relationships with children, families, and coworkers and create a warm, welcoming classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, nurturing care to infants throughout the day.
• Create and maintain a safe, clean, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote infant development and exploration.
• Follow individualized feeding, sleeping, and care schedules.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding their child’s day, progress, and needs.

Qualifications

• Must meet New Hampshire licensing requirements for an Associate Teacher.
• Experience working with infants in a childcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of infant development and best practices in early childhood education.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day.
