A League of Their Own Academy, LLC is a small, family-owned and operated childcare center proudly serving our community for over 20 years. We are looking for dependable, caring, and enthusiastic Preschool Teachers to join our team.

We are seeking individuals who are patient, passionate, energetic, creative, kind-hearted, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced childcare environment. Most importantly, we are looking for teachers who genuinely enjoy working with young children and want to make a positive difference in their development.

Teacher Responsibilities

The Preschool Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment. Responsibilities include supervising and caring for children throughout the day; planning and implementing age-appropriate learning activities; conducting focused observations and monitoring children's development; maintaining a clean, organized, and safe classroom; communicating regularly and professionally with families; supporting children's social, emotional, physical, and academic development; and working collaboratively with administration and other team members.

Teachers report directly to the Center Director and Assistant Director and are expected to contribute positively to the overall operation of the center.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must have:

• 45 DCF Child Care Training Hours completed
• Must be actively working toward a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential if not already completed
• CPR & First Aid Certification
• 5-Hour Early Literacy Training
• Local Background Check
• DCF Level 2 Background Screening / Live Scan
• Previous childcare or teaching experience preferred
• CDA Credential preferred

Starting Pay: From $15.00 + per hour
Work Location: In person

Requisitos

• Mínimo de 45 horas de entrenamiento de DCF
• Debe estar trabajando activamente para obtener su CDA si aún no lo tiene
• Certificación de CPR y Primeros Auxilios
• 5 horas de Early Literacy
• Verificación de antecedentes local
• Level 2 Background Screening / Live Scan de DCF
• Experiencia trabajando con niños o enseñando es preferida
• CDA es preferido
