Infant Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves engaging with toddlers and preschool-aged children, implementing age-appropriate activities, and ensuring a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere.

Duties

• Develop and implement lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Provide care for infants and toddlers as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Engage with students in meaningful ways to support their individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom space that encourages exploration.
• Observe and assess children's development, documenting progress in line with educational standards.
• Support children with special education needs by adapting activities to meet diverse learning requirements.
• Administer first aid as necessary while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Infant, preschool and/or daycare settings is preferred.
• Strong skills in classroom management and behavior management techniques.
• Experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children is essential.
• Minimum of 12 core ECE/ CDE units completed, along with Valid CTC Teacher permit.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental stages of children.
• Certification in First Aid is required; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
• A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
