  • Work collaboratively with the classroom assistant to maintain consistent routines and provide quality care.
  • Participate in indoor and outdoor classroom activities, including physically carrying infants when necessary and taking them outdoors for approximately 30 minutes before bringing them back inside.
  • Communicate professionally with families regarding infants' daily routines, developmental progress, and care needs.
  • Follow applicable childcare regulations, licensing requirements, and center policies.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • At least one year of childcare experience, preferably in an infant or early childhood classroom.
  • A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or active enrollment in a CDA program.
  • Strong English communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of infant development, age-appropriate activities, and basic infant care practices.
  • Ability to follow classroom routines, maintain accurate records, and support individual developmental needs.
  • Ability to lift and carry infants as required and safely participate in indoor and outdoor classroom activities.
  • Willingness to take infants outdoors for approximately 30 minutes, weather and applicable safety requirements permitting.
  • A dependable, punctual, and professional approach to work.
  • A genuine interest in early childhood education and a commitment to continued professional development.
