Infant Teacher

Curious Minds Tigard is looking for a warm, dependable Infant Teacher to join our team! This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves working with babies and enjoys creating a nurturing classroom where children feel safe, connected, and supported as they grow.

As an Infant Teacher, you’ll work closely with our teaching team to create a welcoming classroom, build strong relationships with families, and provide consistent, attentive care.

Your day will include:

• Providing bottles, feeding, diapering, naps, and daily care based on each infant’s individual needs and routines
• Planning and providing age-appropriate experiences through floor play, songs, books, sensory exploration, and movement
• Supporting early language, social-emotional development, and developmental milestones
• Responding calmly and gently to infants’ cues and providing comfort when needed
• Following safe sleep practices, classroom procedures, and Oregon childcare licensing requirements
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom
• Providing active supervision and working with our team to maintain required classroom ratios
• Communicating with families about daily care, development, and classroom experiences
• Building positive, consistent relationships with children, families, and coworkers

• Has experience caring for infants in a childcare, early learning, or similar setting

• Is open to feedback, training, and professional growth
• Meets applicable Oregon requirements for an Infant Teacher position
