- Surveillance: Collect and review data on patient infections daily to spot unusual trends or outbreaks.
- Protocol Enforcement: Make sure staff properly use personal protective equipment (PPE), wash hands, and sterilize medical tools.
- Staff Education: Teach new and current hospital workers about safe infection control practices and waste management.
- Outbreak Response: Lead action plans and isolation procedures if a contagious threat emerges
