The Infection Control Nurse is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating infection prevention and control programs within the healthcare facility. The role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, reduces healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), and promotes patient, staff, and visitor safety.
Organize infection prevention campaigns and workshops.
Outbreak Investigation & Management
Investigate suspected outbreaks and infection incidents.
Implement corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with clinical teams and public health authorities when required.
