𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲: Infectious Disease Advisor

Fruit Street Health is seeking experienced Infectious Disease physicians to serve as Infectious Disease Advisors. This role is ideal for physicians with expertise in infectious diseases, antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention, epidemiology, telemedicine, public health, immunization strategies, healthcare-associated infections, digital health, healthcare AI, or healthcare innovation.

As an Infectious Disease Advisor, you will provide clinical, operational, and strategic insight to help Fruit Street Health strengthen its virtual care platform, evaluate new clinical initiatives, and support the development of innovative digital health solutions. This is a flexible, remote advisory opportunity for physicians who are passionate about advancing preventive care, improving infectious disease management, enhancing public health, and leveraging technology to improve patient outcomes.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Provide clinical and strategic guidance on infectious disease management, antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention, public health initiatives, digital health, healthcare AI, and virtual care solutions.

• Advise on evidence-based clinical protocols, quality improvement initiatives, patient safety strategies, and healthcare technology designed to improve infectious disease care and prevention.

• Support the evaluation of new products, clinical programs, partnerships, and digital health innovations relevant to infectious disease management and chronic disease populations.

• Share subject matter expertise regarding emerging infectious diseases, vaccination strategies, healthcare-associated infections, telehealth workflows, regulatory considerations, and best clinical practices.

• Participate in periodic advisory discussions and provide practical recommendations based on your clinical, operational, and leadership experience.

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

• MD or DO with experience practicing Infectious Disease medicine.

• Board certification or board eligibility in Infectious Disease preferred.

• Experience in antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention, epidemiology, public health, telemedicine, healthcare AI, digital health, healthcare leadership, startups, advisory work, or healthcare innovation preferred.

• Strong understanding of infectious disease clinical workflows, quality improvement, regulatory requirements, evidence-based medicine, and technology adoption in healthcare.

• Ability to commit approximately 2–4 hours per month to advisory board participation and strategic advisory activities.

This Infectious Disease Advisor role offers the opportunity to receive equity compensation in Fruit Street Health, subject to the company's equity incentive plan and applicable approvals. Advisors may also have the opportunity to expand their involvement with strategic initiatives, product development, clinical innovation, and future leadership opportunities as the company grows.
