  • 3+ years of engineering experience in product development, research and development, or related technical roles.
  • Experience with inflators, initiators, airbags, pyrotechnic devices, or energetic material technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex technical data.
  • Experience supporting design validation activities, testing programs, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Knowledge of GD&T, DFMEA/PFMEA, and structured root-cause analysis methodologies.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and work within global cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with pyrotechnic inflator development.
  • Knowledge of combustion, ballistics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics.
  • Experience with engineering tools such as CATIA, SolidWorks, Scilab, Bluesky, or similar software platforms.
  • Familiarity with automotive product development processes and customer requirements.
