InfoBeans Technologies - Senior DevOps Engineer

Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Jenkins, CI/CD pipeline management, Linux system administration, and on-premises infrastructure. The role involves managing and optimizing build and deployment environments, automating operational processes, troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, and ensuring reliable software delivery across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines, primarily using Jenkins.
• Administer Jenkins controllers, agents, jobs, plugins, credentials, and build environments.
• Diagnose and resolve complex pipeline failures across application, infrastructure, networking, and operating-system layers.
• Manage and support Linux-based on-premises infrastructure, including physical servers and virtual machines.
• Perform Linux system administration, including performance tuning, package management, storage and filesystem management, process monitoring, and service administration.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and connectivity issues involving networking fundamentals, DNS, ports, firewalls, and related services.
• Develop automation scripts and operational tools using Python and/or Bash.
• Automate repetitive deployment, configuration, infrastructure management, and maintenance activities.
• Monitor infrastructure health and build environments to ensure availability, stability, and performance.
• Participate in incident management, root-cause analysis, and production support, driving issues through to resolution.
• Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and security teams to improve release processes and operational efficiency.
• Establish and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, troubleshooting guides, and runbooks.
• Recommend improvements to CI/CD architecture, infrastructure reliability, automation, and operational practices.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members on DevOps operations and infrastructure troubleshooting.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10 - 12 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, system administration, or related technical operations.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Jenkins administration and CI/CD pipeline management.
• Extensive experience with Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of build, integration, testing, and deployment workflows.
• Hands-on experience supporting on-premises infrastructure, including physical servers and virtual machines.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting for automation.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals, connectivity troubleshooting, DNS, ports, and firewall-related issues.
• Experience diagnosing complex failures across application, operating-system, infrastructure, and build environments.
• Strong knowledge of incident management, root-cause analysis, and production support practices.
• Experience with Git and source-control-based development workflows.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
